Professor Sheryl Tucker is Associate Provost for Graduate Education and Dean of the Graduate College at Oklahoma State University (OSU) in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She is also a Professor in the OSU Department of Chemistry.
 
Prior to joining OSU, she was Program Director for the Graduate Research Fellowship Program in the Division of Graduate Education at the National Science Foundation in Arlington, Virginia. While at NSF, Dr. Tucker was on leave from the University of Missouri (MU) in Columbia, Missouri, where she was Associate Dean of the Graduate School and Professor of Chemistry.

Before she joined the faculty at MU, she was a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Professor Linda McGown's laboratory at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. She earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas, under the direction of Professor William Acree. Her B.S. in Chemistry is from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio.
